Unconsciously, it's already August 2023. Time flies, it feels like I just started the National Simulated Sociology Experiment yesterday, and today is different from before.
I think of every year since the beginning, and I find that my thoughts are constantly changing. In the first Chinese class of my freshman year, the Chinese teacher asked us what our impression of our middle school life was. I used a word to answer, "immature." Now I think back and still feel the same way. I think of the stupid things I did in elementary school or middle school, or the unattractive things, and I want to slap myself, haha. Sometimes when I think of things from the past, I can let go, but maybe I haven't reached that level yet.
In the year-end summary of 2022, I mentioned: the psychology teacher asked us to choose our expectations for academic life, and I chose "busy." It seems that I am not suitable for being idle. When I am idle, I can only make fun of myself and say, "Then I'll be a mascot." Being busy may become what our section leader called "pretending to study" and "pretending to work hard," but this kind of thing gives us a inexplicable sense of fulfillment that can make us happy. Happiness is the source of happiness.
I have been reviewing English vocabulary recently. A while ago, I went to Bai Ci Zhan to test my reading vocabulary and found that "the clown is actually myself." English vocabulary is endless, you can never finish learning or teaching it. Only by inputting well can you accumulate and make progress. "There is a clear difference between saying something when there is nothing in your stomach and saying something when your stomach is full." Our English teacher's words make sense.
There is a popular saying in "Honkai Impact 3rd: Star Rail", although I haven't played it, I still know about it. A young man named Yan Qing challenged three very powerful characters alone. Being busy can elevate our state of mind. As the English teacher said, "When you stand on the top of the mountain and look at the problem, everything becomes simple." After reaching a higher state of mind, it feels uncomfortable to have to engage in conversations with people who have a lower state of mind. "Speaking in a hoarse voice is difficult to listen to." Thinking that "I am the best in the world," I am actually the clown. Improving one's state of mind is one's own business, how can others do it for you?
I also remembered that I haven't written poetry for a long time. I'm afraid my poetry talent is not good, and it has been worn down like this. I will now write a poem for everyone to enjoy.
